There Be Fairies Here
This week I created several pieces with the new Fleur Fairies from Vera Lane Studio! The photo above features a mixed media background using stencils, fluid acrylics, distress inks and fine liners. I colored the fleur fairy with alcohol markers, Intense pencils and Posca paint pens. I really love the serene look of this one!
Fairies in my Art Journal
Next up is a page in my 5.5 x 5.5 art journal. I used the same stencil as before. I believe it is by Hero Arts. The background (yellow) is alcohol marker. The pinky colors layered on top are two different distress inks. Washi tape was added to ground the page. The absolutely adorable flower and fairy are colored with by go to technique of alcohol markers, Intense pencils and Posca paint pens.
Planner fairy Decor
Don’t the fleur fairies and flowers look absolutely adorable in my Happy Planner! One of the huge things I love about digistamps is the ability to resize and flip images! Why would you ever want to use regular stamps. Digistamps are so versatile and take up less space.
Gosh I just love this digistamp set! I will definitely be using them alot in the future! I love making bookmarks and these cuties look beautiful on the bright yellow background. It will be a perfect addition to my junk journal I’m working on.
Fleur Fairy ATCs
Lastly, I made a few ATCs for the monthly atc swap over in the Vera Lane Studio Facebook Group. I chose to let the Fleur Fairies be the main focus of the atc and just gave them a simple rectangle background. I hope you’ll come join us in the VLS group. We have a ton of fun over there!
Until next time…go make something awesome!
